Customer Review: A nice edition to your Coldplay library.
Well, here's Coldplay's first release or you. It is quite enjoyable and has much in common with their first album in way of lyrical themes and overall sound. I find it a bit curious that none of these songs found their way onto CP's first record. They would have been better served and more appreciated there, but just as well. These are very good songs at a very fair price. So enjoy!
Customer Review: Own it before its no longer available
Its short but ColdPlay rocks and I own them all.

Many years ago my husband and I would often go to parties. We weren't Christians back then, so in our opinion, we considered that music had the sole purpose of being danced to.

We would dance a lot. But sometimes the disk jockey would get caught up in a certain kind of music we disliked. So we left the dance floor and we'd wait for our favorite music to play again.

Sometimes my husband would kindly request the disk jockey to play some favorite song of ours, or a special kind of music to dance to. And off we'd go again a'swinging and a'dancing.

Okay, but what has that got to do with self-directed learning? More than you think.

You see, the other day I heard somebody make a frustrating exclamation about his life, "They play the music and I have to dance to it."

Inevitably I had to ask myself, "Whose music am I dancing to?"

Immediately I realized that there are so many of us who are dancing to another's song.

You try to move and sway to the rhythm, but it doesn't come from the heart. You just go through the motions. Everybody else seems to be happily dancing, but you just cannot manage to tune in.

It's not your song.

We all have a unique song in our heart. A song God put there. And He specially designed and created us to dance to that particular song.

It is a song that would keep us on the dance floor forever. We'd never get tired of it. Because it is so deeply rooted in our innermost being. It is our passion, our dream.

Whether we choose to listen to it or not, that song will always be pulling at our hearts. Calling us to dance.

Today I want to ask you, "Whose music are you dancing to?"

Are you gong with the flow, or are you passionately pursuing the dreams God put in your heart? I'd like to invite you to go for it! Rubi

Rubi is an ambitious young woman, who all her life wanted to become rich. She studies in a private university, where she meets sweet and rich Maribel, and becomes her friend. Rubi is the only friend of Maribel, who doesn't know that she wants to be her friend only because of her money. When Hector, a young and handsome architect with whom Maribel had been chatting on the Internet arrives at Mexico, Rubi meets his friend, Alejandro. Alejandro and Rubi immediately fall in love. Hector proposes to Maribel and she accepts. When Rubi finds out that Alejandro isn't rich as she thought, she decides to break up with him and do everything in order to marry rich Hector, and finally get the life she always dreamed of.
Customer Review: The edition is good, but the music is so boring.
The soap opera Rubi started so good, it was so quickly that in every episode you can see something exciting, unfortunately, with the huge succes of the soap opera Televisa ordered more episodes and there's when we had the problem, When we start to see the beginning of the end: the illness of Hector (then alejandro operates him but because of Rubi he let him die accidentaly). Instead of that, magically Hector gets healed, he gets a lover (Yadhira Carrillo), Rubi meet the Count (Manuel Landeta) and Alejandro have a lot of trouble in the hospital because of some fraudulent things. That part of the story is not as cool as the first episodes, they cut A LOT of secondary characters that actually their story wasn't interesting. That's why i think is a very good edition.... EXCEPT: For the music, the main theme (La descarada) was so goood, this new one is pathetic, and the score was also incredible, but especially the song from the dramatic moments. (In the special episode you can hear it in some of the dramatic moments, for example Sonia's death, when Rubi runs to the beach with her wedding dress, when Maribel watch Rubi at the airport with Hector, etc, etc. Instead of that good song they use a very boring theme, it doesn't transmitt the same emotion and tension. Hope we can see a new version of the dvd but with the real music and with more scenes and extras. By the way the extras are very cool, the finale of the original series in black and white, the special of rubi's niece, the press conference of Rubi, the only missed the original trailers (THEY'RE SO COOL, check them out on youtube)
Customer Review: rubi 2
i'm wondering if they ever going to do part 2 where her neice is twice as free spirited and dangerous lol

Complices

Luis Miguel returns in 2008 hotter than ever with his long awaited studio album, Complices. This sensational worldwide music artist has released 23 albums and sold over 52 million albums in his career. Internationaly known for his romantic ballads, crooning vocals, and chart topping hits, Luis Miguel has sold out shows around the world. Manuel Alejandro has joined in the production of Complices bringing even more star power to this this album.
Customer Review: A good album destroyed by three songs
The album Should have not included the three songs mentioned in the previous review. These songs cut the flow of the mood, they are faster and over produced. I can't believe Luis Miguel is still singing those poppy cheesy styled songs he used to sing in the eighties. It is a shame to ruin such a great line up of songs with three songs that should have been sung by Tom Jones. I believe an album that consists mostly of ballads should include mid tempo, sexy, groovy songs to break the monotony, not cheesy poppy disco songs with choruses that will make your woman jump out of your bed and attach herself to the ceiling like a freaked-out tarantula. Luis Miguel should sing ballads,R&B,soul,Jazz, even sexy chilled-out house, but leave those songs for Tom Jones, he is the king of that style.
Customer Review: Now the marvel of Complices.
This disk is for the sensitive people and the people that understand music. It's not a contemporary radioplay. Luis Miguel interprets beatifully every song. Passion and provocative poetry are in each song of the disc. Luis Miguel and Manuel Alejandro created a great joy for those who know about music.

This story was shared by one of the guests of the Quinceanera and a friend of the family. She tells about her uncomfortable experience at her friends Quince celebration party. The Quinceaneras parents thought they had taken care of everything when planning their daughters special celebration. They went over budget and were concerned about that, but they felt it was going to be a beautiful party. The parents were very proud of their daughter, however they did not know their daughters friends that well.

The day of their daughter, Marias Quinceanera was filled with love, gratitude and joy. Friends and family alike shared those feelings. Marias parents were so happy until things went out of control on the dance floor.

Marias parents never realized it is normal for many teens these days to do dirty dancing or "freaking". It is something teens do at school dances.

When the friend of the family arrived at the party she said, "I was delighted to see other people from my school there. The music started, it was in Spanish and everyone was having fun on the dance floor trying to dance like the Quinceaneras aunts and uncles. It was great fun.

Later on, one of the girls requested hip-hop music. The DJ put on the music. It was still OK, until some of the girls went to get some of the guys to dance with them and they started to do freak dancing. All of a sudden, the rest of kids were dancing like that also.

The dancing got worse and more sexually explicit. Most of Marias friends wearing their formal clothes were dancing like party animals. They did not seem to care where they were and what they were doing. They showed no respect toward the adults and the young kids. The faces of the adult guests had a look of disgust and astonishment".

She went on to say..."How sad for a beautiful day to end up that way",

7 ways to prevent losing control of your Quinceanera Fiesta or any other celebration:

1. Choose a Master of Ceremonies who you can easily communicate with. Let them know the kind of music you want played.

2. Give them a list of the songs and type of music you want to be played.

3. Give them a list of the music you DO NOT want played

4. Tell the Master of Ceremonies that only you or another authorized adult can change the type of music to be played at the party.

5. Make sure the teens are not being served alcohol. It is against the law to serve minors alcohol even in some ones home. If anyone gets into an accident after your party and one of the teens is found to have been drinking at your party - you are responsible. There are big fines for this type of offense.

6. Check out your daughters guest list. Make sure you approve of everyone who is invited.

7. For safety reasons consider hiring a professional security guard to keep anyone not invited out of the party.

To take control, you need to plan ahead, communicate with your vendors what you will allow and will not allow at the party. This will ensure everyone will be happy and share in the gifts of life from your daughters Quinceanera celebration and have beautiful memories forever.

History: Fiction or Science? (Chronology, No. 1)

Recorded history is a finely-woven magic fabric of intricate lies about events predating the sixteenth century. There is not a single piece of evidence that can be reliably and independently traced back earlier than the eleventh century. This book details events that are substantiated by hard facts and logic, and validated by new astronomical research and statistical analysis of ancient sources.

Customer Review: Treading on sore toes?
The professional historians faint as prominent mathematician Doctor Fomenko et al research the known historical data and come to fairly controversial conclusions. For example, the English historians rage at the suggestion that the history of Ancient England was de facto a Byzantine import transplanted to the English soil by the fugitive Byzantine nobility. As the sign of recognition of the special role of the English historians who consider themselves the true scribes of World History, the cover of the present book portrays Tintoretto's Jesus Christ crucified on the Big Ben. The Russian historians brand it as pseudoscience because Dr Fomenko asserts that there was no such thing as the Tartar and Mongol invasion followed by over two centuries of slavery, providing a formidable body of documental evidence to prove his assertion. The so-called `Tartars and Mongols' were the actual ancestors of the modern Russians, living in a trilingual state and aspiring Global Empire with Arabic and Turkic spoken as freely as Russian. The ancient proto-Russian state was governed by a double structure of civil and military authorities and the hordes were actually professional armies with a tradition of lifelong conscription (the recruitment being the so-called `blood tax'). Their `invasions' were punitive operations against the regions that attempted tax evasion. Fomenko proves for a fact that official Russian history is a blatant forgery concocted by a host of German scholars brought to Russia by the usurper dynasty of the Romanovs. Their ascension to the throne was the result of conspiracy, so they charged these German historians-imports with the noble mission of making Romanov's reign look legitimate. Dr Fomenko et al prove Ivan the Terrible to be a collation of four rulers, no less. These rulers represented the two rival dynasties - the legitimate Godounovs and the ambitious Romanov upstarts. The European historians fume not only because Fomenko blows consensual Russian history to smithereens, successfully removing a crucial cornerstone from underneath the otherwise impeccable edifice of World History but for asserting that all medieval European Kings and Princes were but breakaway vice-regents and vassals of the Global Empire who badly needed glorious and very `ancient' past in order to legitimize their new independence from the Empire. Dr Fomenko adds insult to injury, wiping out one by one: the Ancient Rome: the foundation of Rome in Italy is dated to the 14th century A. D., the Ancient Greece and its numerous poleis, which he identifies as the mediaeval crusader settlements on the territory of Greece, the Ancient Egypt: the pyramids of Giza become dated to the 11th to 14th century A. D. and identified as the royal cemetery of the Global Empire, no less. The civilization of the `ancient'' Egypt is irrefutably dated to the 11th to 15th century A. D. following the breakthrough in decoding of the ancient Egyptian horoscopes cut in stone and painted on the temple walls. Arabic historians may find some consolation in the crucial historical role of the Ottoman Empire as a part of the Global empire in the 15th - 17th century. The trouble is that this Empire was initially a proto-Christian state, with Hagia Sophia identifiable as Temple of Solomon, but built in 1550-1557 A.D. by Sultan Suleiman according to Fomenko and Islam with all its key figures is datable to 15th 16th century A. D.! The Chinese historians are also an unhappy lot because Fomenko wipes out the Ancient History of China outright. No such history. Period. The compilation of the so-called Ancient Chinese History is reliably datable to the 17th 18th century only. It is perfectly recognizable as the Ancient European history, reworked and transcribed in hieroglyphs as yet another historical transplantation. The Divinity excommunicates Dr Fomenko because the history of religions according to Fomenko looks as follows: the pre-Christian period (before the 11th century and Jesus Christ ), Bacchic Christianity (11th to 12th century, before and after Jesus Christ), Jesus Christ Christianity (12th to 14th century) and its subsequent mutations (15th to 17th cy) into Orthodox Christianity, the Catholicism, Protestantism, Islam, Buddhism, and so on..; and The Old Testament written after the New Testament in xiv-xvi cy A.D., if you please! Everybody served? Saint Augustine was quite prescient when he said: "be wary of mathematicians, particularly when they speak the truth."
Customer Review: Has history been tampered with?
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/RAZQNMXM4M9CL Has history been tampered with? Yes, it has! Did events and eras such as the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, the Roman Empire , the Dark Ages, and the Renaissance, actually occur within a very different chronology from what we've been told? Yes, they certainly did! The history of humankind is both drastically shorter and dramatically different than generally presumed. Why is it so? On one hand, it was usual custom to justify the claims to title and land by age and ancestry, and on the other the court historians knew only too well how to please their masters. The so called universal classic world history is a pack of intricate lies for all events prior to the 16th century. World history as we learn it today was entirely fabricated in the 16th-18th centuries. It's likely that nobody told you before, but there is not a single piece of firm written evidence or artefact that is reliably and independently dated prior to the 11th century. Naturally, after what you've learned in school and university, you will not easily believe that the classical history of ancient Rome, Greece, Asia, Egypt, China, Japan, India, etc., is manifestly false. You will point accusing finger to the pyramids in Egypt, to the Coliseum in Rome and Great Wall of China etc., and claim, aren't they really ancient, thousands of years ancient? Well, there is no valid scientific proof that they are older than 1000 years! The oldest original written document that can be reliably dated belongs to the 11th century! New research asserts that Homo sapiens invented writing (including hieroglyphics) only 1000 years ago. Once invented, writing skills were immediately and irreversibly put to the use of ruling powers and science. The consensual chronology we live with was essentially crafted in the 16th century by the Jesuits. The world history was compiled from contradictory mix of innumerable copies of ancient Latin and Greek manuscripts and other irrefutable proofs delivered by late mediaeval astronomers that were cemented by the authority of writings of the Church Fathers. Early in life, we learn about ancient history. Children love the magical lessons of history - they are like fairy tales. Teachers recite breathtaking stories; very soon We learn by heart the names and deeds of brave warriors, wise philosophers, fabulous pharaohs, cunning high priests and greedy scribes. We learn of gigantic pyramids and sinister castles, kings and queens, dukes and barons, powerful heroes and beautiful ladies, emaciated saints and low-life traitors. Ancient history is based documents, manuscripts, printed books, paintings, monuments and artefacts - called primary sources. The problem is that neither these ancient documents, nor events described therein can be irrefutably dated, moreover they contradict each other for the most part. When a school textbook tells us that Genghis Khan in year X or Alexander in year Y, have each conquered half of the world, it means only that it is so said in some of the written sources. There are no answers to simple questions: When were these primary sources written? Where and by whom were these sources found? It is wrongly presumed that ancient and medieval chronicles, written by Genghis Khan's or Alexander the Great contemporaries and eyewitnesses, are readily available. Actually, only sources written hundreds or even thousands of years after the events are there, compiled mostly in the 16th 18th centuries, or even later. As a rule, these sources suffered considerable multiple manipulations, falsifications and distortions by editing. At the same time, innumerable originals of ancient documents under various pretexts were destroyed in Europe under various pretexts. The names of persons and geographical sites often changed meaning and location during the course of the centuries. Geographical locations became clearly defined on maps only with the advent of printing. This made possible the circulation of identical copies of the same map for purposes of the military, navigation, education and governance tasks. Historians from Oxford say: "hey, everybody knows that Julius Caesar lived in the first century B.C. `Julius Caesar' statement is only a point of view as there is simply no irrefutable documentary proof that Julius Caesar or any other great name of antiquity ever existed. Better than that - extremely rare sources that can be reliably dated back to the 10th-14th centuries A D, do not show the polished picture of classical history. They show a picture both contradictory and confusing. All methods of dating of ancient sources and artefacts are erroneous: Radio-carbon C14 method produces dating with exactitude of plus minus 1500 years, therefore it is too crude for dating of events in historical timeframe! The Almagest tractate, which lies as corner stone contemporary chronology, compiled in the 2nd century A D by Ptolemy, the founding father of astronomy, contains astronomical data of 9th to 16th century! The Bronze Age,that has supposedly began 5000 years ago. Bronze is made of 90% copper and 10% tin, but the technology for tin extraction dates back to 14th century A D!. All eclipses contained in manuscripts, like Thucydides one, relating 'ancient' events have exclusively medieval dating. All horoscopes cut in stone or painted in Egyptian temples, like Dendera have exclusively early medieval dating solutions. Not quite what you have learned in school? Open your eyes, and, you will find sufficient proof to reach step by step the inevitable conclusion that the classical chronology is false and therefore, that the history of ancient and medieval world universally accepted today, is also false. Have a fresh outlook on everything said or printed about "ancient" and "enigmatic" Roman, Greek and Egyptian, medieval as well as all other "lost and found" civilizations. Antiquity and Dark Ages are phantoms invented in the 16th 18th and polished in 19th 20thcenturies. Human civilization is in fact barely 1000 years old! This book will change your perception of History forever! What if Ancient Rome, Greece and Egypt were invented during Renaissance? What if The Old Testament was a rendition of events of the Middle Ages? What if Jesus Christ was born in 1053 and crucified in 1086 AD? Sounds Unbelievable? Not after you've read "History: Fiction or Science?" by Anatoly Fomenko, the genius mathematician. Armed with astronomy and computers Anatoly Fomenko turns History into a rocket science.

Step shows can be found nearly everywhere in the United States. Once exclusively performed by African American Greek fraternities and sororities who originally helped to develop the popularity of the step shows, these shows are spreading across the country and around the world. More and more people are becoming involved in stepping from campus organizations and church groups to high schools and local communities.

The international Greek lettered fraternities and sororities under the umbrella organization for nine historically Black, the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) is an international Greek lettered group. . The Greek-lettered societies which are referred to collectively as the "Divine Nine", each evolved as organizations during a period when African-Americans were being denied essential rights and privileges afforded other college students.

Some Greek organizations help to coordinate step competitions in middle and high schools, affording the younger generations an opportunity to experience what stepping is all about. While many of the step show organizations and competitions follow in the footsteps of the African American Greek organizations, they also help preserve and promote their cultural history as well as promote the importance of making a difference in their communities. A portion of proceeds from the step shows sometimes goes to build scholarship funds or used to help the communities. This form of dance give much more than entertainment to the people involved. It also gives them the chance to help out in any way they can.

Historically Black Colleges and Universities or HBCU are educational institutions in the United States that were established before 1964 with the intention of serving the African American community.

The Greek-lettered societies include:

Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.

Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.

Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.

Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc.

In the late 1960s, historically Black fraternities and sororities began embracing stepping at college campuses. Previously using step shows as a rite of passage for pledges, the Black Greek letter system has a strong role in the college step scene. There are often specific steps to each chapter and sometimes the groups playfully mock each other's styles during competitions and benefits. Each society or fraternity has its own step team. Stepping in these organizations provides an enjoyable bonding experience.

Members of step teams practice the routine twice a week, which is coordinated by a trainer. Pulling steps from past experience by members enables teams to mesh together an assortment of steps to keep audiences interested. Members are encouraged to make up their own steps and give suggestions about what works and what does not.

Many people may be discouraged at the sight of a step routine. However, working up from the basics is a good way for people to see that more complex steps are just combinations of simpler things with some crossover. The existence of "rhythm" can be learned over time if it is not immediately integrated. Step Team members enjoy the physical and often aerobic work out.

The All State HBCU Showdown is one of many national stepping competitions that elevates this hundred year tradition of stepping, a complex performance involving synchronized, percussive movement, singing, speaking, chanting, dancing and drama, to the next level.

MyStepShow.com is a free video sharing community website that features step team performances. Members can post and share video footage of their stepteam performances. Visit http://www.MyStepShow.com to learn more about the tradition of stepping.

Eclipse Series 6 - Carlos Saura's Flamenco Trilogy (Blood Wedding / Carmen / El Amor Brujo) (Criterion Collection)

One of Spanish cinema's great auteurs, Carlos Saura brought international audiences closer to the art of his country's dance than any other filmmaker, before or since. In his Flamenco Trilogy-Blood Wedding, Carmen, and El amor brujo-Saura merged his passion for music with his ongoing exploration of Spanish national identity. All starring and choreographed by legendary dancer Antonio Gades, the films feature thrilling physicality and electrifying cinematography and editing-colorful paeans to bodies in motion as well as to the cinema that so eloquently, and artfully, captured them.
Customer Review: Fantastico!
If you want a sweet taste of flamenco - this is a perfect set. Starting w/Blood Wedding - progressing to Carmen - and finishing w/El Amor Brujo. Fantastico!
Customer Review: Brilliance
My love of flamenco music was born when I heard Carlos Montaya playing when I was about 25 years old. I am now 73 years old and when I hear flamenco it is through my heart not my ears, I watched this dvd Eclipse Series 6 Carlos Saura's Flamenco on my 107 " plasm tv, it was breathtaking, such brilliance and beauty, watching it over and over again it moves me every time.

When should the male dancer begin to lead his partner into her six-count or eight-count footwork once the swing music begins? The answer is that he should begin leading her on any of the song's downbeats; that is, on the "1" count, the "3" count, the "5" count or the "7" count. These "base beats" are the backbone or pulse of a song! You don't need to be a trained musician to understand a song's tempo (or timing), just listen to music and pick out the rhythm section (drums, bass, guitar or piano).

To take the pulse of the song and determine its number of beats per minute (bpm), count these downbeats for fifteen seconds and then multiply by four. Very slow swing songs have around 70 bpm and very fast ones have upwards of 200 bpm. The swing songs that I personally enjoy dancing to the most, average about 125 bpm which coincidently approximates my optimum cardio-training heart rate when I exercise. Notice that these downbeats differ from the upbeats that occur on the "2" count, the "4" count, the "6" count or the "8" count. In St. Louis Imperial Swing, we begin stepping immediately on any of the music's downbeats; however, this is not true of all styles of dance. In the Cha-Cha, for instance, dancers begin stepping after any of the music's upbeats.

Beats per minute became common terminology in popular music during the disco era because of its usefulness to DJs; and it remains important in dance music today because both our style of dance and our footwork rhythms are determined by the tempo of the music! The original or classic style of Imperial Swing, which is danced "in the round," is performed to music with a faster tempo (130-185 bpm) using primarily the slower single step and double step footwork rhythms. Today's contemporary style of Imperial Swing, which is danced within a slot, is a combination of both East Coast Swing (135-175 bpm) and West Coast Swing (75-115 bpm). Dancers perform this popular, "slot-bop" hybrid to music with a slower tempo (100-135 bpm), and they use primarily the faster, triple step footwork rhythms. Remember, the terms are music timing (or tempo) and footwork rhythms (or steps) but not vice versa!

The "time signatures" of different music styles tell dancers how many beats there are to a measure, and which note represents that beat. Swing music uses 4/4 timing; that is, there are 4 beats to a measure (4/4) and the quarter note gets the beat (4/4). For example, on the 1 and 2 count of your six-count, triple step footwork, the "1" is an eighth note (or a half-beat) and the "and of 1" is an eighth note (or a half-beat). Together they add up to a quarter note or 1 beat; and the "2" count is a quarter note or 1 beat. On the 3 and 4 count, the "3" is an eighth note (or a half-beat), and the "and of 3" is an eighth note (or a half-beat). Together they add up to a quarter note or 1 beat; and the "4" count is a quarter note or 1 beat. These 2 beats bring the cumulative total up to 4 beats or one measure.

Finally, on the 5 - 6 breakstep, the "5" count is a quarter note (or 1 beat) and the "6" count is a quarter note (or 1 beat). These final two 2 counts bring the total up to six beats or one and a half measures. To summarize this footwork count, dancers take eight steps in six beats of the music. Good dancers let the music tell them what to do with their feet. If they begin their footwork on any of the song's downbeats, and then end it on the sixth (or eighth) beat, then they are dancing in time with the music and finishing their steps when they are supposed to. As Skippy Blair, the renowned swing dance teacher, author and recipient of the California Swing Dance Hall of Fame Award, tells her students: "please don't tell me how long to hold the beat; just tell me what the count is, so I can place my feet!

The acoustic guitar still holds a fascination for music lovers even after all these decades of our ears being bombarded by electric guitar music. Electric guitarists love playing with the sounds they get from different tone settings, effects, the use of the different pickups and feedback. The acoustic guitar has only the tone given to it by the wood it is made from and the skill and inspiration of the guitar player. So let us take a look at some acoustic guitar solos and the guitars and guitarists who made them.

If you do not know the name Erik Mongrain, you will find some examples of his guitar playing on video sites on the internet. I came across a very nice solo called Air Tap. He was given an acoustic guitar when he was fourteen, and learnt to play it by ear. While he learnt and experimented with the guitar he discovered the technique of sitting the guitar in his lap and tapping, the strings and body to produce music. If you go looking for him on the web you will find pdf files of his music and tutorials on his techniques.

Paco de Lucia introduced the world to a new brand of flamenco in the 1970's and paved the way for a new generation of flamenco guitarists who were inspired by his passion for oriental scales and jazz influences. Entre Dos Aguas was an improvisation begun during a recording session because the LP Paco and his accompanying musicians were working on was short on material. The resulting rumba was a worldwide hit and established Paco as a force to be reckoned with well outside the boundaries of Spanish folk music. Paco sponsors his own line of flamenco guitars.

Back in the 1990's MTV decided to coax guitar hero Eric Clapton into playing some songs without the adornments provided by an electric guitar and amp. The resulting album won Grammy awards, gave Clapton's career a shot in the arm and reinvented the song Layla as an acoustic showpiece. The solo on Layla is far removed from the original theme conceived by Duane Allman which made the song a rock anthem.

In the late 1960's Mason Williams surprised himself by writing and performing an acoustic guitar solo which became a hit and remained popular for the decades since. The tune was called Classical Gas, and is striking for its simplicity and popular appeal. Classical Gas was born in an era when instrumentals such as The Lonely Surfer, A Walk In The Black Forest and Love Is Blue were standout hits for musicians who were otherwise unknown. But only Classical Gas retains the ability to make people sit up and listen.

So if you play the acoustic guitar a little and would like to learn how to play solos, you can use the world wide web to learn more about soloing techniques for acoustic guitar. One easy way to start is the clawhammer technique used in folk songs, or you could learn to improvise your own licks using the minor pentatonic or "blues" scale. If you are stuck for an idea on how to begin improvising or making up your own tunes, start with a nursery rhyme or some other popular melody, and begin adding notes to it and changing things around to produce something original.

Ricky Sharples has been playing guitar his whole life, and is presently engaged in building a blog called Learn How To Play A Guitar For Free. Ricky's blog features free tools, lessons and resources for guitarists of all ages and stages. Ricky updates the blog regularly so if you are interested in learning to play guitar there will be an enormous variety of tip, tools and tutorials for you.

In a long history of Indian modern art we still could not found the way or the vision which could lead us beyond reproduction and representation. Today modern art is completely business oriented. Artists are just business people, petty in thinking; rarely there is any artist who really understands modernitys consciousness. Nowadays creativity is synonymous to good looking art, beautiful, decorative and crafty. A new group of capitalists have appeared on the horizon of Indian modern art to promote art and multiply the capital. Women from business families have come out from their closed
houses.

Bored by day to day life they have found a new opening in Indian modern art, for them its very interesting to talk and discuss art issues with some illiterate artist coming out from remote areas. Having lost all glamour of sex life, family life, and partying with their husbands; they have now invented a new concept for their enjoyment in art. Art means partying, kissing and drinking than making some fuss about art and its market. Artist feels fortunate to see himself in such a big party arranged by his malkin or malik gallery owner. A gallery owner makes scandals, to raise prices of a particular artist in online auction or auctions arranged by them physically in some five star hotels, they earn millions and millions.

Artists are not concerned with art and creativity either; they are more concerned with their names in auction list. Artists are no more Artists, they are craftsman; creating things on demand basis. Once they have started selling their craft (since their art is more decorative than artistic) they go on creating same thing. Ranjit Hoskote, says in an article in Business Week that fear is that artists may be sacrificing quality for quantity. Given the growing demand, some artists have become painting factories. Let us take example of some known names in Indian modern art, Ramkumar, T.Vaikuntham, Jogen Chaudhury, M.F.Husain to name few among many are producing same kind of works; boring and monotonous since a long time, far it is in demand. They never tried to transcend styles as though they have no creative urge. They never contemplated on arts dangerous ability to go toward what exists, by the infinite multiplicity of the imaginary.

Other leading art forms too like cinema, dance, and music are not lagging behind, here Kiss and sex is creativity since sex sells. See how do Rakhi Sawant kinds of item girls take creativity? Rakhi Sawant says, yadi mere dance mein mazaa nahin aata toh mujhe dekh kar enjoy karo. She has nothing to offer except her vulgar body, she confesses, Aaj kal ke latest fashion mein ye dance hota hai, jo dikhta hai vo aaj kal ka fashion hai.

This is not only Rakhi Sawant case; films are also using the same concept of creativity. Look at Mahesh Bhatt directed majority of films, he too has nothing to offer except sex, murder, and movies on extramarital affairs, and premarital affairs. No doubt there are some great Indian directors in film industry who do offer love, relationship, sex in a very creative way, they dont deny sex but they never go for a vulgar exposition of sex which is very natural human behavior. Those who are pro to vulgarity and justify it as most important thing, forget that it needs not be taught since it is a biological instinct which everyone knows by birth. You dont need to teach man how to make sex; its a genetic behavior which even a blind man can perform well. Opposed to these art forms literature has two categories: one which does not belong to creative aspect of literature and another one which only belongs to feudal-bourgeoisie petty emotions.

Regarding first category it is a fact that literati belongs to this category are pseudo Marxists, who do believe that all literature is socio-political in nature. Therefore the characters set forth in action in a set story line in a novel or in a short story; are peculiar in deeds and thought. They are obscure images who neither represent a social- being nor a Marxist man; rather they are ideological representatives in their vagueness. They are vague in deeds and thoughts since they never confront truth of life. Life does not revolve around bread only it has some higher purposes; it is creative in its being.

Another approach taken by feudal-bourgeoisie literati intellectuals is full of hedonism representing those very individualists, who never think for others. They write stories of pubs and parties, they have everything tradition, religion, jadu-tona, ghosts, and witches. Its reflecting visually on television channels like Star Plus, Zee etc. In the hot Serials of these channels Women and Men is being represented utterly superstitious and ritualistic. Recently the ideal of that society and he who belongs to that society shown his beliefs openly in his action; I am talking about Amitabh-Aishwarya-Abhishek trio. See how they had shown us the path to progress. They wanted to show us that since they are famous and rich, they can promote anything superstition, jadu- tona, sacrifice, ritualism etc. This is but logical for them; above all people always follow to those who are successful in the society.

Gipsy Kings Fuego! The Videos

Children learn languages faster than adults. It is much easier for them to learn a second language while they are learning their first one. The earlier we can start kids off learning a second language, the better. Start before 3 years old, achieve fluency before age 12 would be good rules of thumb.

There are several reasons for teaching your children Spanish, (or giving them a chance to learn it from native speakers). Here are a few of the more important reasons:

1. Usefulness. Spanish is the most-spoken language in the western hemisphere and the fourth most-spoken language in the world. There are 17 million Hispanic people in the U.S. who either do not speak English well or do not speak it at all. Knowing Spanish equips people to talk with their neighbors and deal with nearby Latin Americans. Spanish is also widely spoken in Europe. So it is an obvious second language of choice for North Americans.

2. Helps brain development. Learning a second language stimulates and helps children's brain development. Apparently new and different neuron paths and connections are established, resulting in more brain cells and more extensive use of existing brain cells.

3. Employment. With 17 million in the U.S. who communicate better in Spanish than English, there are many job openings for bilingual people. Increasing trade with our Latin American neighbors creates demand for bilingual people who can work with both the U.S. office and the Latin American client/customers.

4. Cultural expansion. Learning another language is a cultural experience. It is more than just the ability to communicate. It enables the learner to read the books and newspapers, understand the works of literature and drama, understand current events and politics better.

In addition, children can learn to speak a second language and speak it without an accent. This will help them enormously in working with and being accepted by native Spanish-speakers.

One of the best ways to learn to speak Spanish is through interactive audio learning courses. There are several of these that can be downloaded from the Internet for under a hundred dollars.

Remember, the earlier we start kids off on a second language the better. So download a learning course and start today!

Coldplay - Live 2003 (DVD & CD)

The two-disc set includes a 90-minute, nine-camera, super 16 live shoot taken from their July 21 and 22, 2003 performances at the Horden Pavilion in Sydney, Australia, as well as band commentary, a never before broadcast behind-the-scenes documentary, a special tour diary and the edited audio CD. The DVD and CD will also include two PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED live tracks- "The One I Love" and "Moses."
Customer Review: The best concert I never went to!!
I got the Coldplay 2003 DVD as a birthday present in '04. Coldplay's my favorite band, so you can imagine my excitement. Back in the days, I never thought I could ever be in a real concert of the band, I lived too far away from any place they toured. Almost four years later, I still think the DVD was the best concert in my life. That is, taking into consideration that I went to see them, against all odds, in NYC in 2006. It's not that the concert was bad, it was one of the best days in my life. It's that to me, the DVD is so good that I can't get enough of it. The band plays perfectly, the connection with the crowd is real, the choice of songs is fantastic, the sound is epic, the transitions that go along with songs, including colors, angles and views of the crowd and the band are nothing but exciting and bright. If there's any DVD I would ever recommend, it's this one. It's the closest you'll come to live the Coldplay experience if you haven't got the chance to live it already.
Customer Review: Wow. That's all I have to say.
Not only is the music CD great, but the DVD packs quite the punch. The only tiny thing that bugged me was how the CD didn't have every song off of the DVD, but I guess that's what makes the DVD that much better. If you like Coldplay, but this DVD, you will not regret it. Best $20 musical purchase I've made in a long time.

Full Moon occurs when the Sun and Moon oppose each other, and this opposition between the two big luminaries of the sky creates a certain unbalance. It's like we're in the middle of a strong magnetic field and loose balance as soon as we try to move out. We tend to have accidents - whether it's a fall or a car crash. On a full Moon night I slipped on a patch of ice in the street, fell and broke my arm. Not unsurprisingly, when I arrived at the hospital the surgeons were really busy - there had been two traffic accidents that afternoon and evening. A friend was attacked by a mad dog, thrown to the ground and broke her hip on a full Moon morning.

Another effect of the tension of the full Moon is violent outbreaks. Especially where there are religious and ethnic conflicts, like in northern Ireland and the Middle East, there tend to be a peak in violence close to full Moon. And watch your own irritation level at full Moon! Isn't this when you easily snap at your kids or husband, or generally tend to feel tense? It's common to suffer from insomnia by full Moon and I've found that people with a strong Moon influence in their natal chart, for instance a person with the Sun, Moon or ascendant in Cancer, is more likely to not be able to sleep. We all know the word lunatic. It comes from the Latin word for Moon, luna. Someone who's lunatic is full of full Moon. Restless, nervous, tense, violent, angry. Mad, mad, mad. French law used to excuse a person who committed a crime at full Moon. (Or at least so rumours say). It was like he wasn't quite at his senses - and it wasn't his fault.

The full Moon was to blame. Actually, the word mood in French, lun also origins from Latin luna. So they say a person is in bad or good moon, not mood. Very accurate!A person who's born at full Moon will have Sun Moon opposition in the natal chart - which is a bit like carrying a full Moon inside you. The person tends to be restless and always discontent, never satisfied, wanting something, not knowing what. But this frustration also creates a strong drive, and subjects with Sun Moon opposition are very often great achievers. Finally, it's just a myth that more babies are born on full Moon! A study of several thousands of births in the hospital in my hometown Trondheim showed no connection between the phases of the Moon and births. Thank God, I'd add. We don't want too many people in this world with Sun Moon opposition in their birth chart - that would just lead to too much stress, tension and violence!

COLDPLAY Twisted Logic Tour - French Music Poster

COLDPLAY Twisted Logic Tour - French Music Poster 118x78cm

Boogie music, also known as boogie woogie, is a genre of piano-heavy music particular to America in the 1930's and 1940's and 1950's. It's characteristic walking bass is familiar to many as a harkening back to rock and roll, even though the form is based strongly on the blues (in fact, it's often been called an upbeat version of the blues).

Boogie originally started as a strictly piano form; the most familiar versions are still based solely around the instrument. The precise origin of boogie-woogie piano however is uncertain; it was no doubt influenced by early rough music played in the roadhouses and honky tonks in New Orleans and Kansas City and other cities and towns in the south.

A couple early boogie-men were W.C. Handy and Jelly Roll Morton, and as it grew in popularity many other pianists adopted the style. But as boogie became more and more popular, so too did the idea of including a whole band. Before long, the once solo genre adapted itself to accommodate an entire band. The latest versions of boogie often include guitar and other instruments, but the piano and drums remain the focal point. Even years later you can hear the influence of boogie in the music of Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis, Johnny Cash, and many others.

Many boogies (but not all) are based on the familiar 12-bar blues, which is a series of chord progressions using just the I, IV, and V chords:

Typical 12-bar blues:

4 bars of the I chord

2 bars of the IV chord

2 bars of the I chord

2 bars of the V chord

2 bars of the I chord

then rinse and repeat

Here is a typical left hand boogie pattern in the key of C that can be played either as single notes or octaves or offset broken octaves:

C - E - G - A - Bb - A - G - E

C - E - G - A - Bb - A - G - E

F - A - C - D - Eb - D - C - A

C - E - G - A - Bb - A - G - D

G - B - D - E - F - E - D - B

C - E - G - A - Bb - A - G - E

Boogie is often credited as the originator of rock and roll, but that idea isn't necessarily valid. While boogie definitely played some role in rock and roll's early days, it was really rhythm and blues that started the form. Boogie, on the other hand, remained an off-shoot of blues and an entity in its own right. It also may have indirectly spawned a dance of the same name, a dance that led largely to boogie being credited as rock and roll's most dominant predecessor.

The boogie dance, an upbeat and energetic social dance with small roots in swing, was danced mostly to rock and roll. It spread through teenage social circles like wildfire and became almost synonymous with rock and roll. As boogie (the dance) continued to grow through the 50s, boogie (the music) began to disappear from the limelight. And as it grew further and further from the mainstream, boogie's captivating hold on audiences became understood as a product of the dance, not the music. The way in which the two forms of boogie were interchanged often led to confusion about where and when the form originated and how it related to the dance and the inception of rock and roll.

In any case, boogie is here to stay. It's fun to play and fun to listen to.

Can you become a boogie-man or boogie-lady?

Brothers & Sisters

If there's one location in the world that has become synonymous with the world of dance music, it's the island of Ibiza.

Films have portrayed it, bands have sung about it, television crews have filmed documentaries on it (or rather what goes on there) and there've even been movies made around and about it.

Every year, thousands of revellers head for the island, tempted by the cheap hotels, warm climate and abundance of pubs, bars and clubs that pump out the basslines.

Indeed, the dance music scene is what's made the island famous, and has helped to attract many Club 18-30 holiday companies as well as being a popular retreat for those on stag and hen does.

Hotels in Ibiza are packed to the rafters at the height of summer, with many tourists descending upon a number of towns on the island - such as San Antonio and San Rafael - which have become famous for their vast dance clubs, which play host to a number of famous DJs throughout the peak of summer.

For those who wish to step away from the thumping basslines, there are many gorgeous sandy beaches on which to relax - usually before the next mad night of clubbing -many of which are a short walk from coastal hotels.

Water sports are a common activity for holidaymakers to the island - from waterskiing to wakeboarding to pedal boat hire. For those looking to escape the clubs and explore some more of the island, the countryside away from the bustling resorts offers the chance of some tranquillity. Sights include the caves at Can Marca and a number of stone towers, which offer the chance to take in some spectacular views of the island.

The sheer numbers of tourists that head to the island every year mean that there's no shortage of bars and restaurants (should you feel brave enough to join the throng of clubbers) - however there are many quaint little restaurants that are tucked away in towns away from the bustling resort areas.

So whether you're coming for Pacha or the paella, Ibiza remains one of the most popular of the Spanish tourist destinations. Don't expect too much peace and quiet however, although measures are being taken to make the resort more family-friendly.

Looking for hotels for your Balearic adventure? Compare from a wide range of cheap hotels and hotels in Ibiza to help plan your perfect trip.

Sonic Foundry Acid 2.0 Latin

Because there are MIDI guitars! And there are MIDI interface attachments for regular guitars.
You can make totally new sounds, change your existing sounds, or add instrumentation
you never thought possible before!
So let me give you the rundown!
Historically the Musicical Instrument Digital Interface, or MIDI, got started with MIDI keyboards.
Although there were researchers and hobbiests experiementing with other MIDI devices including guitars,
it was predominantly a keyboard world.

If you used a keyboard standalone (or without a PC), the MIDI keyboard MIDI out would be connected to the MIDI in of a sound module or other keyboard. The keyboard could then be used to play
multiple sound modules at the same time.
If you used a MIDI keyboard with your PC, a MIDI keyboard MIDI out would be connected to your PC's MIDI in. The PC's MIDI out would be connected to the keyboard's MIDI in. When you press a key on the MIDI keyboard the MIDI note number and velocity (how hard you hit the key) is transmitted over the MIDI. This is somewhat like an old piano-roll piano. If you've ever examined one, you know the holes in the roll let a pin slip through as the paper rolls by (with the speed that the roll is turning controlling the tempo). And the pin corresponds to the piano key that will be hit at a particular time (relative to the start of the roll). MIDI data is like this except it also includes some dynamics (i.e. how hard the key was hit). When the keyboard is operated "standalone", normally the MIDI out just loops back to the MIDI in. This is done internally so you don't need to put a MIDI cable in. Most MIDI keyboards let you turn off this automatic loopback when you're working with a PC so that you don't get double notes from the keyboard and from the PC echoing it back. It's as if the keyboard and sounds are two separate pieces. There's an assumption here. The PC must have some software directing the MIDI connectors on the PC for this to happen. That software is usually a MIDI sequencer which functions almost like a multi-track analog recorder. With the MIDI sequencer running, you start the record function and the sequencer program will store all the MIDI notes it receives into memory (and let you file them to disk later into a MIDI file). The recorded MIDI file can be examined with a graph showing the notes (and it looks almost exactly like a piano-roll). Most sequencer software is smart enough to display (and print) in standard musical notation as well. Cool!

There are a couple more wrinkles, but good ones. In addition to MIDI note number and velocity, there's a channel associated with MIDI transmissions. MIDI allow up to 16 different channels over the cable "simultaneously" (in quotes because I'm fibbing a little). Just like the cable TV coming into your house has 50 or 500 channels at the same time you can set a MIDI device to send or receive on a specific channel and it will only send or respond to notes for its channel. But you may have a TV with a preview capability that shows a whole bunch of TV channels at once so you can surf channels. Well some MIDI devices are like this. Actually most MIDI devices are like that these days. They can handle multiple channels at one time. Which is to say the MIDI device can "play" multiple instruments at the same time by being able to listen to multiple MIDI channels and play the notes for which each instrument is assigned. This assignment can be done on the MIDI device's panel or sometimes by using a computer program running on the PC. This way you can have a whole band in one keyboard -- piano, bass, percussion, vibes, flute, etc. As a general rule, as the number of instruments and/or simultaneous notes the keyboard can play increases, so does the price! And some MIDI keyboards have the squencer built in so you don't even need the PC.

There are lots of freeware, shareware, and open-source MIDI sequencers out there, so just query your favorite search engine.

There are MIDI guitars, and MIDI interface attachments for regular guitars.
You can play your guitar and have it sound like a flute, or trumpet, or
a string section, or depending on the synthesizer or synthesizers you use,
it can sound like a flute AND a trumpet AND a string section AT THE SAME TIME!
For backing or solo work, your universe of sounds expands.

Sparks Ep

Limited edition promotional single featuring five tracks, 'Sparks', 'Careful Where You Stand', 'Yellow' (acoustic version from Jo Whiley's Lunchtime Social), 'See You Soon', & 'Yellow' (video). Paper sleeve. Parlophone. 2000.
Customer Review: Good but not their best
Considering that this is a promotional CD and not an official release, we can't hold Coldplay responsible for putting out a bunch of songs that not only don't represent their great music, but could also confuse newcommers. I agree with another reviewer who says the best thing about this is its "rare" condition. "Sparks" is just a common ballad that does not shine like others. "Careful where you stand" is a bit better and one of their earlier works. "See you soon" is definitely the jewel of this single, a song that can also be found in the very hard to get Blue Room EP. The acoustic version of "Yellow" is good but still doesn't compare to the majestic performances maybe some of you have got a chance to listen to in other singles. The bonus video is also a plus if you are a fan. Overall not bad, but not great either. Definitely an item for collectors and true fans only.
Customer Review: Very Good
The Cd is off the chains.. its got the Yellow music video and its got See You Soon. And Sparks and Careful are good songs as well. COLDPLAY RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Emo music, a rock music variation that is characterized by less guitar chaos and more melodic overtones has created subculture that is a curiously different even among its adherents. A product of the DC area in the 1990s, but with an Austin Texas and Seattle Washington influences, emo (which stands for emotional hardcore) has spawned a new wave of musical disciples mostly in the teen and lower 30s age-group and fueled by music from such entities as One Last Wish, Embrace and Fire Party.

The emo/indie culture, has gathered certain stereotypes in its wake. Remember when Tower Records was a hub for indie and altenative rock music gatherings? Emo music started off with many unsigned artists and Tower Record stores used to be the vortex of indie/emo culture and emo adherents could be easily identified there by their gothic persona.

Chalk-white faces, hair, nails and clothes completely black and Celtic jewelry was and still is the emo signature appearance. Some emo fans also dye their hair into other colors such as blue, green yellow and even red but there is always an aspect of black.

Teens who have embraced the emo subculture can be seen widely spotting fashions that can be linked to the 1950s rock era; ragged tight jeans, black t-shirts with "tattoo" designs and even black suits in some instances. Most emo adherents also spot crosses from the medieval era, mostly Celtic in addition to body piercing in odd places.

Emo teens have raised a furor among conservatives. The emo subculture, which is inherently gothic, has not been received well by a myriad of parents and political groups within the school districts and other academic communities. This gothic persona has been associated with social detachment, school violence, drugs, a record suicide rate, poor grades and even occult practices. In the movies "The Craft" and "The Blair Witch Project" the actors can be seen spotting emo/gothic garments and the lead players radiate a gothic presence.

The rock star, Kurt Cobain, who was idolized by many emo teens, committed suicide on April 5, 1994, after a troubled life and a fight with drugs. Another rock star, Marilyn Manson, portrays a gothic image in many of his public appearances and his lyrics, which have called for suicide and murder, have sparked many protests among conservatives in every field. Perhaps a curious twist is the association of emo and gothic music with vampires. Most vampire movies portray the vampires in emo/gothic clothing and emo music has been heard to lace many a vampire movie.

The emo culture is also closely associated with the punk-rock movement which is rampant in the US and Europe and which has also rapidly spread throughout the rest of the world. Fans can be seen spotting tattoos, body-piecing on the tongue, navel, and eye-brow area and even on their nostrils. Hair is particularly dyed to attract attention. Glues are applied to hold it up and in then 80s the Mohawk style was widely worn by teen punk-rockers.

Traditionally, punk-rockers have not been associated with acts of lawlessness or other criminal acts but in some European countries such as Germany and Russia, punk-rockers have been linked to supremacist groups which have ran afoul of the law after attacking or defaming members of other races.

Customer Review: No rhythm no problem
I will say this I'm Hispanic so I did know some Salsa before I purchased this DVD. I wanted to learn some advanced moves and I realized before I purchased this video that prob wasn't for me. It wasn't but it did teach me some basic concepts in general. It also taught me how to turn. I'm a natural dancer but it gave me concrete steps which I just do without thinking. That being said I do believe this will teach ANYBODY to dance. He gives so much detail and repetition there is no way you won't be able to pick it up. I love the hand tricks. Also I didn't have a partner and this a partner video. Don't buy if you have dance experience.
Customer Review: Easy to follow.
The instructions are clear and easy to follow. My husband has absolutely no rythym and he picked up the steps.

My Girlfriend the Assassin

Buying a guitar is really exciting. But it will be appropriate only if the whole buying process can be judged properly. Once you have decided what to buy, next question is, where to but it from? A proper decision should be taken after a proper research is done regarding the place from where to purchase the guitar.

Basically there are two options to buy a guitar. One is to buy it from a store selling guitar and other musical instruments and the other is to buy it online. However, in each case there are pros and cons. These should be known to the buyer as it will help to settle for the best choice. So let's find out what extract can be taken out from buying guitars online vs. buying guitars from a store.

Talking about buying guitars online vs. buying guitars from a store, the first fact that strikes the mind is inspecting the product. As it is known that it is necessary to examine the model properly before buying it, therefore, in this regard it is better to opt for the store. The reason is simple; it is only possible in a store to check out different guitars at a time before buying. The same is naturally not possible in case of online buying. Also here the payment has to be made first i.e. before the guitar is delivered. But some of the online sellers have return policies too which enables the buyer to return the defective instrument after examining it within the given time .

Next point about buying guitars online vs. buying guitars from a store, is that the buyer will have to depend on the advertisement in case of online process. Whatever it will portray about the company and the model, the buyer will have to believe. On the other hand while buying from the store the facts stated by ads can be easily verified.

Then again, in case of buying guitars online, sometimes the shipping costs for buying or returning the guitar can be expensive. On the other hand, the stores don't have such kind of issues. Most of the time there is no shipping charge. With it comes the oppurtunity of negotiating the price, which is not possible in the online buying process.

Surrounded by drawbacks, the online process has many advantages too as compared to the stores. Needless to say, the online process is really very comfortable. The main reason being the fact that it can be done from home, which saves the trouble of visiting a store that is situated far off.

In the debate of buying guitars online vs. buying guitars from a store, the next fact that comes along is getting a guitar expert opinion. While buying from the store you either have to rely on your judgment or dealer's words. But while buying guitars online, this facility is provided by way of product reviews from experts as well as comments from users who have experienced buying from a particular site before.

Digging out the next fact from the discussion regarding buying guitars online vs. buying guitars from a store, is the variety option. The online process offers endless options about the guitars. Any kind of model or brand, sometimes even the rare models are easily available on the Internet. Whereas, in the stores the options are most of the time less and the rare models needs placing special order.

One of the important fact regarding buying guitars online is that most of the time the online companies have no sales tax charges. This saves you some money when you buy guitar online.

These were some trade offs to be considered while deciding on buying guitars online vs. buying guitars from a store. The final decision to a large extent depends on the individual preference and circumstances.
